Reseach On Process And Tools For R&D Project Management Of Manufacturing Enterprise

Manufacturing industry is basic industry of the Chinese National Economy, also it has a direct impact on the development of National Economy Department. But manufacturing industry has the operation problems about high cost and low efficiency, so it needs to realize transformation and upgrading relying on technology innovation in an increasingly competitive global market. Technology innovation capability is related to science and technology innovation resource and R&D project management standard. In this respect, combined with the studies of the special project of Innovative Methods "Technology Innovation Management and Lean Production Integrated Development" (Item Number:2013IM030600), this paper designs implementation plan and tools for R&D project management of manufacturing enterprise.First, the thesis analyzes the characteristics of the R&D project based on the definition for the connotation of the R&D and R&D project. Considering the project management process and characteristics of R&D project, the R&D project management is divided into five processes:project start, project plan, project implementation, project control, project closeout. Then the thesis describes the objective and specific tasks according to the five stages of R&D project management process. Secondly, R&D project of manufacturing enterprise can be divided into two categories:product innovation project and process innovation project. Product innovation project can be divided into new product development project and product improvement project. Process innovation project can be divided into new product process design project, production line technical improvement project, production organization and management innovation project. Finally the thesis discusses the task in each five stages of R&D project management and designs the tools related project management.
