Performance appraisal is an effective tool to enhance management performance and achieve enterprise strategic objectives. It can supervise, motivate, train staffs work hard for corporate strategic objectives by decomposing the overall objective into several verifiable objectives, and decomposing these objectives at different levels of time and space. Therefore, the performance assessment is not only the tool of distribution of benefits, but also the basis to identify gaps and causes and to improve,and the means to promote businesses and employees growing together. For now, although many domestic enterprises have built and implemented the performance assessment system,but the actual effect undesirable. In addition to the traditional culture of the concept of the rule of man, the main reasons leading to this phenomenon was that they adopted large foreign enterprises’ performance assessment system mechanically, the performance assessment index didn’t suit for operational characteristics and strategic objective, resulting in performance assessment became a mere formality.From strategic objective of company A, taking target management theory as a guide, and based on learning the performance assessment system problems of company A.I tailored a more comprehensive KPI performance assessment system for the company A.Purpose is to optimize company’s enterprise structure, improve staff quality, improve the company’s overall level of performance and achieve strategic objective.This study consists of six chapters. The first chapter, introduces the research background and significance, research progress, research methods and technical routes; the second chapter related to the theoretical basis of performance appraisal theory are reviewed, and KPI theory are reviewed; Chapter III Situation a Corporate performance management research and analysis, introduces a company overview, and according to the results of a questionnaire survey of company a performance appraisal problems are analyzed; the fourth chapter of management by objectives a company KPI based performance appraisal system design, the use of KPI Construction law the a performance appraisal system and simulated assessment; implementation and performance appraisal feedback Chapter V, for the implementation of performance appraisal and feedback problems, and put forward countermeasures and suggestions; Chapter VI conclusions and recommendations on the contents of this paper are summarized, Study limitations and propose future research prospects.
