The shipping logistic industry, which is the Shipping Company C specialized on, is developed rapidly and gotten remarkable achievement in recent years. Due to its importance, the development of shipping logistic industry became one of the state owned strategies addressed by the State Council on September 3rd,2014, and transformation and promotion is called for at the same time. Actually, there is still huge gap on the convenience and the variety of services between local shipping companies and foreign ones.Shipping Company C is a state owned company, founded in the year of 1997, which has the biggest market share on inshore shipping lines for many years. Docks and service outlets spread all over China and overseas. Now it is facing on the problems of the growth of complains and discontent from its customers by stubborn procedure of services, and the drop-down of service quality. Line staff under the huge pressure, is difficult to create new developing points of business due to heavy routine operation.In order to improve the service, this paper analyses the pressure gap between work ability of line staff and the average rate of the arrivals of customers. Calculating the line length and waiting time of customers based on the queuing models M/M/1 and M/M/2 to find out the way to improve service quality. Re-fix the services network by opening more windows, smoothing the procedures, dividing services projects and adding more kinds of services.
