Today, the world economic situation has been great changed. Chinese manufacturing industry takes this opportunity to transformation & upgrade, re-branding and enhance the international status. Therefore, the state started the strategy of "Made in China 2025".From strategic management point of view, organizational performance management is an important part of strategic management and effective means implementing and landing. Middle and senior managers in home appliance manufacturing enterprise is the core of human resources meanwhile Its work output and performance has a direct influence over the survival and development of enterprises. During evolution from the home appliances manufacturing enterprises to transformation & upgrade, middle and senior managers have decisive effect. Performance appraisal for middle and senior managers driven effect is self-evident, but because of the latter job complexity and non-procedure characteristics, the performance appraisal and management is very difficult. How to according to the characteristics and demand of different enterprises establish a scientific, high effective performance appraisal system and adapt to the needs of future management which has the important research significance.HK is one transformation company, including high level performance appraisal optimization case that has high research value.This case based on the theory of organizational behavior and human resources performance management through the analysis of the HK company senior performance appraisal status, can we find out the existing problems and shortcomings and put forward high performance optimization scheme. The scheme based on company strategic objectives for five years covers two aspects with performance appraisal index system and performance appraisal and management.Performance appraisal index system makes use of the management thought and tools of Strategy map, Balanced Scorecard, KPI,etc to establish the key performance index system of support and guarantee for strategic objectives and business goals in the part of performance appraisal. On the other hand, It is considered that the requirements of the company to the integrity, responsibility, strategy, innovation, efficiency, team,etc is established the qualitative indexes in the part of moral, attitude and skillful appraisal.To the aspect of the performance appraisal implementation and management, senior take the assessment model of executive annual performance contract + leadership + subordinates’ satisfaction, while the middle managers use the assessment model of monthly task book + leadership + subordinates. The appraisal implementation take the method of performance audit,task scores, cadres debriefing, 360 evaluation, democratic interviews and so on to ensure the objectivity of the assessment and comprehensive. The appraisal result is connected to the managers’ salary and middle quarterly / annual performance bonuses. At the same time It is applied to the aspect of the appointment or dismissal of cadres, transfer, assessment reward, training and promotion which make the high level performance management form PDCA closed-loop.The study and the conclusion of this paper that review the management situation, construct the requirements of the future development of performance management system, motivate and play a good role in middle and senior management better has a certain reference significance to home appliance manufacturing enterprises.
