| Focus strategy is an important strategy in the enterprise competitive. It is widely used in making and applying investment strategy in venture capital firms. In order to avoid the high risk and income uncertainty, venture capital firms usually making a variety of investment strategies synthetically. As a result, researches in investment strategy mode, risk investment projects evaluation are getting more and more important in the study of competitive strategy.In 1946, the first venture capital firm of the world was founded in the United States, since then, the global investment market was open. At present, venture capital has become an important power for high-tech enterprises preparation. No matter the quantity or the amount of risk investment projects, venture investment market in Beijing occupies a very large proportion in the Chinese venture capital market, as a result, study on this investment market is meaningful.Throughout reports in our country, there are two categories in venture capital, they are venture capital and private equity, and they are collectively called “venture capital†or “VC/PE†for short. This research unified the two categories of investment into one formulation. This research took the risk investment projects happened in Beijing area as the research object, the complete data from 2011 to 2013 in Beijing as the research sample, data of investment stage, investment profit, investment amount, investment length, area of VC/PE firms, investment strategy usage, industry type and stage of the finance enterprise as the research content. Using fuzzy clustering method and the grey comprehensive evaluation based on entropy method, this paper researched on investment strategy model and risk investment projects. This paper summarized the investment strategies which were used in risk investment projects in Beijing, analyzed models of investment strategy, evaluated the risk investment projects comprehensively, then sorted the risk investment projects, and evaluated investment strategy models.This paper considered the practical situation in VC/PE firms, analyzed the firms with their characteristics and attributes. The inherent laws of investment projects which were summarized in this paper can offer valuable references for formulating focus strategy in VC/PE firms. Combining the characteristics of the alternative investment projects and their own developing strategies, venture capital VC/PE firms can make a feasible choice and achieve good investment result from risk investment projects. As a result, in terms of theoretical and practical significance, this paper has both of them. |
