Study On Construction Project Management Of National Water Meter Product Quality Supervision And Inspection Center (N City)

Water meter is one of the main regulatory measuring instruments. N City is a city of water meter, with the domestic market share of more than 50% of water meter yield, is also the major production base of water meter fittings and water meter testing device. To set up a high-level water meter testing laboratory in N City is a project of General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, which can not only undertake the national supervision and inspection tasks, but also provide the testing service and provide technical support for new product development.This article studied on construction project of national water meter product quality supervision and inspection center (N City), with the application of project management theory, proposed the project construction organization and project’s key links, conducted an in-depth research.This article firstly introduced the development situation of water meter industry in N City, outlined the theories and methods about project management, equipment procurement, human resource management, etc, analyzed the project of national water meter product quality supervision and inspection center (N City), described the significance of construction project management, prepared the overall project plan. Then, designed the project’s four key links, as follows:developed the implementation plan of functional planning and layout, presented the operational plan of key equipment’s selection and procurement, proposed the managing methods of staffing and trial operation.
