Base on spare parts Inventory optimization and management project as background in L company, The thesis start from the theory and practical application view, focus on how to improve spare parts logistics management strategies and guarantee the safety and reliability for nearly 2,400 customer who installed CNC cutter and plotter in the Greater China, so as to improve after sales service level and customers satisfaction.The full text have five parts. The first part, analyzes the current situation of CNC cutter industry, expounds the spare parts sales is very important for company to create sustainable profit sources. We also have the research significance and framework in first part.The second part of the article focus on describe current situation of the spare parts business in L company, analysis problems and try to find root cause of spare parts inventory management, then determine the specific solution and theoretical method.The third part, the key research focus on service level settingã€spare parts demand predictionã€ABC classification on spare parts inventory managementã€(R, Q) inventory model for class-A parts on order quantity & reorder point calculation. Base on business characteristics we discusses the spare parts and consumables minimum and maximum inventory control strategy and IRIS project for better control free parts under service contract and selling parts with different process. Finally this chart puts forward the implementation of specific suggestions.The fourth part, base on current situation in west and south China spare parts logistics capacity can not meet customer needs, focus on the research of third party logistics management strategies, include use AHP analytic hierarchy process (AHP) set up logistics supplier evaluation system, performance evaluation system and discuss relationship with 3PL provider and put forward some suggestions of the implementation on 3PL strategy.Finally, we have a conclusion and prospect on the fifth part of thesis.Through above research, try to find some method and implementation of the path for L company on improve strategy of spare parts logistics management, and we hope can provide reference basis for industrial equipment sales company to increase after-sales service profit and customer satisfaction. |
