Service spare parts is not only a method which telecommunication equipment provider used to guaranteeing customer’s network stable, but also effective sustain telecommunication supplier’s after-sale service activities and their acknowledgement carrying out for customer. Nowadays service spare parts become a new profit point gradually. So, the quality of spare parts service would affect customer’s trust to telecommunication equipment provider directly, even the profit of them. In order to study how to effectively reduce enterprise inventory cost and management cost of spare parts, based on the premise of meeting the satisfaction of customers and grabbing the maximum profit, this article took telecommunications equipment service parts management of HW company as the research object, described and analyzed the spare parts inventory management, repair management, procurement management and reverse logistics management respectively. Meanwhile, described the weakness and deficiencies of HW spare parts management and provided corresponding improvement suggestions and implementation methods. Hope that the research results will provide a reference to HW spare parts management and other telecommunications devices enterprises or enterprises those engaged in high-tech industry.Based on the present situation of HW company spare parts management, this paper argued that the problems can be targeted to solve. For redundant spare parts and high inventory costs caused by inaccurate demand forecasting and the unreasonable warehouse storage, ABC classification can be used for spare parts inventory management and warehouse storage location optimization. And, related demand forecasting process and Poisson and Normal (Gaussion) distribution statistic methods can improve the accuracy of demand forecasting. The application of spare parts regional sharing model can further solve the high inventory problem. For high logistics and repair costs issue in spare parts repair management, Complementary manner of different repair mode can be used to reducing maintenance investment worldwide. The idea of using "5Why" and the project operation model’s adoption can improve the high NFF (No Faulty Found) rate. At the same time, it is suggested to further reduce the maintenance cost through maintenance outsourcing. For the problem of high cost of spare parts procurement management, BOM optimize with TOPSIS method is applicable. For the last procurement issues, establish a function based on the relation between customer satisfaction and corporate ordering cost. can provide a reference to HW, in solving spare parts continuously maintenance problems while the telecommunication equipment production is ended. Based on the background of the rapid development of information technology, combined with the HW company service parts management status, to further improve the HW company spare parts service management level, it is necessary to build a lean management model based on information technology. Therefore, building a spare parts service delivery system for interface between customer and HW company become more and more valuable. Market tends saturated of global telecommunications network, regional differences of telecommunications network and multi-mode network standards coexisting problems, and the management challenges of the spare parts service outsourcing can be solved through improveing spare parts compatibility, independent operation of spare parts repair center and the strengthening of planning capability of spare parts at front line and so on.The results show that, whether in theory or practice, the application of some related methods can effectively improve the HW service parts management problems.
