The eyes of global people focused on the nuclear power again due to Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Disaster in 2011. “To develop” or “to shutdown” nuclear power plants are argued by the leaders of the countries. But, the consumption of energy increasing rapidly, global climate change, air and soil pollution, and so on, the living conditions of human being give huge pressure to the governments. The promise to cut down the emissions of greenhouse gas forces their energy policy move to non-fossil energy. The renewable energy such as, wind, Solar, Biomass, Geothermal, wave and tide are all depend on the natural conditions deeply and the techniques are still under developing. They can not be used as a stable industries’ power. The capacity factor of 90% and low-carbon emission make nuclear power to be the most competitive substitutional energy for the fossil’s in the future. It is still the main non-fossil energy to be developed in the most of countries in the world. Especially for developing countries in far-east, the Fukushima disaster did not change the energy policy too much except for the nuclear-security policy. The golden time of nuclear power is coming. But, the radioactive safety and waste deposit are always the most trouble for the sustainable development. It should be seriously considered by the nuclear power industries. The thesis concentrates on the formulation of strategy mainly and the implementation of strategy is involved a little. First of all, the remote external environment and industry environment after Fukushima disaster have been analyzed in which the nuclear industry operates. Based on the merits and disadvantages of nuclear power, the analysis methods of strategy management are used to investigate the political, economic, social, technological, legal and environmental landscape(PESTLE) of nuclear industry including the trends of global energy consumptions, the structure of energy supplement in China, the development of nuclear, the change of relative laws, the basement and technology of the chains of the industry, and so on. A new five-forces model is proposed to understand the competition environment of nuclear power industries. It is analyzed that the influence of the thread of renewable energy, the competition of new nuclear industries, the nuclear acknowledges and risk-aware of common people and the government, and the industries’ ability of innovating.A concept of the innovation-driven sustainable-development is proposed as the development strategy of nuclear industries after Fukushima Disaster. The thesis proposes that the mission of nuclear industry is to develop the advanced full fuel cycle, which can make the nuclear energy more green, safety, and thousands-year supplement, also the only way to make the development of nuclear power and industry sustainable. Since many key technologies in the chains of full fuel cycle are not available completely at present, a long road map of three-step and multi-channel is proposed base on the wide collaboration with the Chinese Academy of Sciences and colleges. The thesis formulates a serious of methods for nuclear industries to ensure the implementation of the innovation-driven sustainable-development.It is the sustainable development strategy for Chinese nuclear industries to follow the rule of “original innovation” and “ecology security of nuclear industry” under the strategy of advanced full fuel cycle. It is the way to extend the “green” energy for thousands years. It is a chance and a challenge for the nuclear industry in the new environments after Fukushima Disaster.
