Talents are the most important resources for the development of enterprises. With the development of knowledge economy and the progress of society, people oriented management theory has been developed and applied in theory and practice. Career management is an important part of enterprise human resource management. Career management, which is the core concept of career development channel design, is an important human resource management method from developed countries in recent years. Enterprises through the use of new methods and technology to continuously strengthen the analysis and design of the staff career development channel. Give full play to the positive role of the important resources of talent. It has very important significance to promote win the sustainable competitive advantage. In this paper, based on the actual situation of M power company, this paper studies the analysis, design and implementation of the employee career development channel. The selected topic has the important theory significance and the practical application value.First of all, on the basis of the review of domestic and foreign research, defines the concept of career management and career development channel, and expounds the influencing factors of employee career development and the basic theories such as the type of employee career development channel and so on.Secondly, the current situation of human resource management and career development channel of M power company are studied. According to the basic situation of M power company, the characteristics of the company staff are analyzed. Combined with the characteristics of M power company’s career development channel, the human resources management and career development channels of the company were analyzed by SWOT. The advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and threats are discussed respectively. Laid the foundation for the design of employee occupation development channel of M electric power company.Thirdly, the paper discusses the guiding ideology and basic principles to follow in the design of M electric power company employees’ career development channel. The concrete implementation steps of the construction of the employee career development channel are discussed. And from the four aspects of the establishment of Vocational School Division, staff development path planning, channel performance, career development inner channel, designs the staff career development channel to meet the M electric power company.Finally, the specific protection and implementation steps of the M electric power company employees are studied. And use AHP method to build the analysis and evaluation of the channel. The ability of employees is divided into three core competencies, leadership, competence and professional competence. After quantitative analysis, the weight of each index is determined. Evaluation on the basis of expert scoring method for channel effect is made. Further confirmed that the channel designed by scientific and reasonable.The research can provide some theoretical and practical experience for the human resource management of M company or related enterprises.
