Research On The Goods Trade Between China And Pakistan

Pakistan is currently ranked the world’s sixth most populous country, bordering on Xinjiang, a key location in China and Central Asia, West Asia, South Asia connections. To further promote the development of bilateral economic and trade relations, in July 2013, the Government of Pakistan and China have signed "Common Vision for Deepening China-Pakistan Strategic Cooperative Partnership in the New Era", as well as the Planning for the construction of the economic corridor of China and Pakistan. In February 2014, they signed the "Deepening China-Pakistan Strategic and Economic Cooperation", further promote the development of China’s cooperation with Pakistan Trade and Economy. Under "the Belt and Road" of opening up the strategic situation, study of trade relations between China and Pakistan has become a hot topic. With the rapid growth of bilateral trade volume between China and Pakistan, deepening cooperation in the field of trade, economy has shown a strong complementarity, which promote the development of bilateral trade cooperation to a certain extent. But now, faced with the development of China-Pakistan economic and trade cooperation merchandise trade imbalances, trade and political relations status, the structure of a single commodity trade and other issues.The article on the basis of previous studies, to further understand the problems of the trade relationship between China and Pakistan, in this paper, the current bilateral economic and trade cooperation between China and Pakistan situation has carried on the comprehensive analysis of the system. Mainly includes the analysis of the current China import and export trade structure between the two countries, bilateral trade by calculation index to analyze the complementarity and competitive of trade between the two countries, and makes an empirical analysis of bilateral trade and trade potential estimates, find out the problems existing in the economic and trade development between China and Pakistan, according to the current our country the current opening-up policy put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions, and then, the paper points out China-Pakistan trade and economic development of the economy.
