And based on enterprise core competence theory and the value chain theory it laid a theoretical foundation; And it analyzes the value chain of petroleum enterprises, determines the formation process of petroleum field enterprise core competence, and analyzes the key factors affecting petroleum enterprises core competence; Then combining with the characteristics of petroleum enterprises and influence factors of petroleum field enterprise core competence, it constructed core competence evaluation index system of petroleum fields enterprise; To optimize the index system, it applied rough sets theory to determine the final core competitiveness evaluation index system; and applied analytic hierarchy process(AHP) to determine the index weight, And application of fuzzy matter-element comprehensive evaluation method, it evaluated core competitiveness level in CNPC, Sinopec, CNOOC, BP, EXXON, SHELL, for comparison and analysis, to find the way of our petroleum field enterprise core competitiveness; Finally, on the basis of the empirical analysis results of petroleum enterprises, to optimize the index system as a starting point, it puts forward some effective countermeasures to our petroleum enterprise core competence and the suggestion.
