With the advent of the era of experience economy, people’s consumption concepts are greatly changed. People want to pursue more physical and mental experience and feelings than before. Rural tourism shines its unique advantages in this background and is welcomed by the masses of tourists’ favor. The demand of tourists for rural tourism products gradually changed to the pursuit of spiritual enjoyment from material wealth requirements, which makes the development of rural tourism products gradually towards to the naturalness, experiential and interactive aspects. It’s also the inevitable developing trend of the market demand.In this thesis, on the basis of previous research methods and achievements, using literature analysis, case analysis, questionnaire investigation and comprehensive analysis and under the guidance and support of the sustainable development theory, product life cycle theory of tourism, tourist demand theory and the theory of experience economy, taking Langxia Town as a rural tourism product development case, this paper analyzes the present situation and problems of this town and put forward the corresponding development strategies and safeguard measures, aiming at providing certain reference for the development of rural tourism.Through the research, we noticed that Langxia town although has achieved rural tourism development and has formed a certain scale, there still exist some problems in its rural tourism product development such as single product features, lack of cultural connotation, interactive experience and so on. Through the questionnaire survey, we know that tourists in Langxia Town have their own opinions on its rural tourism. The author analyzes the two main characteristics of the rural tourism market:one is to gradually transform the rural sightseeing tourism into a form of ecological tourism and farming experience; the other is to deeply develop and improve the current existing natural pastoral scenery tourism products and folk cultural tourism products. The main tourist market is positioned in college students and enterprise working stuffs who have a larger demand and greater recognition and trust for the rural tourism. This paper also puts forward Langxia Town rural tourism product development plan, mainly includes four aspects:folk cultural tourism products, ecological leisure tourism products, farming life experience and rural tourism service product. The research combines the theory with practice, this paper puts forward the colonnade town rural tourism product development related Suggestions, aims to make contributions to its rural tourism development..
