| With the widespread of the Internet and the expanding number of netizens, online shopping continues to heat up. The proportion of e-commerce transaction continues to increase, and has gradually become a mainstream shopping pattern. Among the online shoppers, the post-80s and post-90s are the new force. More and more post-80s and post-90s have their own families and children, and their habits and values have been deeply impacted by the Internet. An increasing number of families choose to purchase basic necessities and other supplies for their children online. Therefore, the analysis of marketing strategies of outstanding maternal and infant product companies on the e-commerce platform, as well as proposals for specific recommendations for optimization and development, will play a great role in improving the whole industry.This paper studies the marketing strategy of ITTMOM, a maternal and infant product company. Marketing theories are used in analyzing its marketing strategy. First, the paper introduces the research background, research significance, and research methods of ITTMOM’s marketing strategies; second, it analyzes the market environment of the e-commerce platform from three aspects:the overview of e-commerce, the current development and characteristics of its retail network, and the structure and market trends of the e-commerce platform; third, it performs SWOT analysis of the internal and external environment of ITTMOM’s marketing, and proposes a series of marketing improvement suggestions based on its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.; last, marketing theories are used in analyzing its marketing strategy it summarizes the operating status and the problems in marketing of ITTMOM.This paper performs case study of ITTMOM to analyze its e-commerce marketing strategies and provide theoretical guidance and a practical example for players in the fierce competition on the e-commerce retail platform, and thereby promoting the quality completion and development among maternal and infant product companies in e-commerce. |
