With the development of internet and mobile internet, there has been a large amount of data from websites, videos, online communities, WeChat and Apps, and internet enterprises have increasingly taken subscriber number and user activeness as the foundation of the evaluations for their operation. During the process of such evaluation, data processing and application play a very important role, prompting the emergence of a large number of data service enterprises. Founded in 2000, Analysys International is a renowned TMT market research analysis enterprise in China. RD Network Technology(hereafter referred to as RD) is Analysys International’s subsidiary positioned as a big data analysis and service enterprise, providing data products and services for internet enterprises.In recent years, there have been greater demands for data from enterprises and higher requirements for data services. RD has met problems such as insufficient technologies in the data market, fierce competition, week technology, unclear business mode, difficulty in big data product and service businesses, relatively low market recognition, etc., all of which have brought about impediment to the development of RD. The company has enjoyed a yearly increase in sales revenue, which is mainly due to the expansion of internet and mobile internet markets and value-added services for VIP customers. As the traditional business mode cannot support the development of the company, RD wishes to innovate in new service fields, maintain a stable market position and obtain core market competitive advantages. Thus, it has become an urgent necessity for RD to plan its development strategies and new business mode.This thesis started from researching and studying the theoretical research status at home and abroad and typical development strategies of innovative service enterprises to analyze business modes and strategies of Chinese and foreign innovative service enterprises and thus provide samples for reference for RD. In the meanwhile, the thesis also gained an understanding of the status quo, threats and opportunities of RD and highlighted the greatest difficulties faced by the company, i.e., incomplete management, insufficient resource allocation, and relatively high staff mobility.Secondly, for RD development strategy planning, the thesis conducted research o n internal and external environments of the company by means of enterprise interview and APP developer research and with all sorts of strategy management instruments, such as Five Forces Model, EFE matrix, IFE matrix, SWOT matrix, and QSPM matrix. The thesis then proposed to combine big data application with innovative services, develop big data analysis service platforms, and adopt focused differentiation strategy as core competitive advantage.At last, the thesis put forward the strategic objectives, strategy implementation and strategy evaluation of RD and proposed four strategies to safeguard the implementation of strategic objectives, and five risk countermeasures for risk prediction and prevention. In the meanwhile, this thesis also provided thought and guidance for researches on the development strategies of RD and similar data service enterprises.
