In the process of rapid development of China’s modernization, agricultural modernization has become the key to the development of China’s modernization, and the modernization of agricultural enterprises is an important part of agricultural modernization. The market adaptability of the agricultural enterprises and the improvement of the performance of the enterprises are the important performance of the agricultural modernization. How to keep the development advantages and the market competitiveness of the enterprises in a complex environment, how to adapt to the rapid changes in the internal and external environment and make scientific decisions? This requires the development of agricultural enterprises in the process of development to maintain flexibility(adaptability) development. Therefore, it has important theoretical value and practical significance to study the relationship between organizational flexibility and firm performance in China’s agricultural enterprises.In this paper, agricultural enterprises as the research object, based on the modern enterprise theory, transaction cost theory and the principal-agent theory, constructed the theoretical model of the relationship between organizational flexibility and performance, and carry out the study on the relationship between the organization of agricultural enterprises of different types of flexibility and performance, the idea is as follows: first, review and summary of the the existing literature and theory, introduces the research background, purpose and significance of this paper; secondly, according to the relevant theory, the theoretical model of the research and put forward the research hypothesis; thirdly, design questionnaire, empirical analysis and conclusion; finally, according to the research results, the conclusions of the research, and puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions on the development of different categories of agricultural enterprises.This paper uses survey data SPSS software for agricultural enterprises are analyzed, the results obtained are as follows:(1) agricultural enterprise internal management flexibility on state-owned agricultural enterprises and collective agricultural enterprises financial performance has a positive impact but not significant, has a positive significant influence on the financial performance of private agricultural enterprises;(2) negative external adaptation of agricultural enterprises to no significant influence on the financial performance of flexible state-owned agricultural enterprises, has a significant positive impact on the financial performance of collective agricultural enterprises, financial performance of private agricultural enterprises has a positive effect but not significant;(3) the agricultural enterprise customer transaction flexibility on the positive impact of state-owned agricultural enterprises, collective enterprises and private agricultural agricultural enterprises have financial performance significant;(4) agricultural enterprise internal management of state-owned enterprises and has flexible collective enterprise market performance has a positive effect but not significant, on the performance of private agricultural enterprises market have significant positive effects;(5) for the state-owned agricultural enterprises and collective agricultural enterprises, agricultural enterprises enhance internal flexible management can enhance the enterprise’s market performance, but to enhance the effect is not obvious;(6) agricultural enterprise customer transaction soft of state owned agricultural enterprises and private agricultural enterprises in market performance have a significant positive impact, to agricultural collective agricultural enterprises in market performance has positive influence but not significantly.According to the results of empirical analysis conclusions, the agribusiness organizational flexibility of enterprise performance has certain influence, but in different categories of agricultural enterprises, enterprise organizational flexibility, and firm performance there are differences and effects of different types of agricultural enterprise organization flexibility on firm performance is not the same. Therefore, in the process of agricultural modernization, need different types of agricultural enterprises in the development process of maintain flexibility of organization development, and improve the performance, different types of agricultural enterprises in development should formulate specific measures for the development according to the actual situation of the enterprise.
