Family business is a kind of organization which can cross national boundaries and the stages of social development. The form of this organization is relatively large, the structure more complex, and the nature of life more unique. Whether in developed countries or developing countries, family business has made important contributions to the development of national economy.In 1949, Because of institutional reasons, the family business had been declined. But after of reforming and opening, family business has been developing again. Today, the family business has become an important component which promote the rapid development of the economy of China. With time going, the first generation of entrepreneurs are gradually moving towards retire. In the next few years, China will be in the peak of inheritance of family business. If the family business can’t properly handle the issue of inheritance, then it is likely to decline even demise. If the family business is not properly deal with the problem of inheritance, it is likely to cause the constant turmoil of the enterprise, then bring great risk. In the current complex environment, how the Medium and small family business transferred to the next generation has become a common concern of the theory and practice.Based on the family business relevant theories, the development of the family business in our country is started pointed by case study method of analysis problems appeared in the process of family business succession. In the reference of the world within the scope of family business succession experience under the premise, combined with the main characteristic of family business, put forward to suit our country contemporary family business inheritance and the development pattern.In this paper, then we draw the following conclusions: in the process of inheritance,no matter what kind of family enterprise inheritance way, first of all we should pay attention to the development of a succession plan and prepare for the sustainable management of the enterprise; Entrepreneurs should correct for their guidance which constantly enrich themselves, adjust themselves to ensure the long-term development of the enterprise; in the successor to take over and run at the beginning of the enterprise,entrepreneurs should also have psychological adjustment, take a back seat after the gradual decentralization, combination of old and new leaders management experience and to realize the sustainable operation of family enterprises.
