In the world,family business is a more common form of business organization.In China,the number of family enterprises accounts for more than 80 % of the total number of private enterprises.With the changes of the times,family enterprises have adopted a certain modern enterprise system.However,due to the influence of traditional family culture,family enterprises are mainly controlled by family members.The management and ownership of enterprises are concentrated in the hands of members of the family.How to choose the inheritance mode and path is one of the important problems that most family leaders face.Based on the concept of family enterprise and the intergenerational inheritance of family enterprise,this study combines the theory of life cycle,property rights,stakeholders and entrusted agency.This paper analyzes and compares the intergenerational inheritance patterns and paths of American,Japanese,European and Chinese ethnic enterprises,and takes the S family enterprise as an example to investigate and analyze the development status and family members of their family enterprises.This paper studies the main problems existing in the intergenerational inheritance and analyzes the main factors affecting the choice of the intergenerational inheritance path.Finally,based on the relevant research results,this paper puts forward the choice of the path and the optimization proposal of the S family enterprise's intergenerational inheritance,which aims to promote the eternal development of S family enterprise,and hopes to provide a reference sample for similar developing family enterprises.
