After 2012, the America’s economy has recovered gradually, the Asia Pacific rebalancing policies and the TPP and TTIP as strategic processes which were dominated by the US has been strengthened; therefore, the development space on the international arena which the BRICS countries has obtained from the 2008 crisis is facing a structural resistance again. In the crisis period, the BRICS countries has realized contrary growth against the west with strong national government stimulus. Meanwhile, these stimulus has left very profound influences on their domestic model of economic development and industrial structure. The BRICS countries are different with mature organizations of free trade or economic integration, they have on the whole relied neither on the geopolitical factors nor on the matching of economic industrial chain, and it’s even difficult for them to form a pragmatic force in some important strategic trade after the cooperation mechanism has successfully materialized, even though the interactive trade among member states has grown significantly. But the agendas of mechanism maintaining and platform construction are still carried out in full swing, so that there is a structural feature that the diplomacy and politics play in an opera of economy and trade. From 2014, Russia’s economy has been hit badly by the western-group’s sanction cause its involvement in the Ukraine crisis; from the beginning of 2015, Chinese economy has formed a new normal result from the superposition of three economic phases, and faces the transformation of structure as well as the reduction of growth internally; Brazil has got into the dilemma of the government governance which hurts the economic growth; and South Africa has been faced with the questioning and criticism about its "de-industrialisation" of domestic economy since the implementation of the "black economy improved policy (BEE)". Given these situation above in the post-crisis period, this article researches the structural resistance in the international economic environment; the structural mismatch among BRICS countries in their internal economic and trade cooperation; and the structural dilemma of the effectiveness, which is weaken by the current adverse situation results from the geopolitical and powers strategic competition of these five counties, of the BRICS as a cooperation mechanism, on the basis of the available literature and macro-economic data. It will explord the nature and significance of the cooperation among the BRICS countries on different levels, from its conception to the materialization process, through researching of a large number of relevant literature; again, analysis the intensity of cooperation among these countries by systemizing a large amount of data of merchandise trade and FDI. On the basis of the foregoing, analysis will be comprehensivly on the existing structural defects, which should not be neglected in the brics cooperation...
