The Study On Competitiveness And Complimentary In Service Trade Among BRICS Countries

Currently,under the influence of the deep adjustments on the global industrial structure and the process of trade liberalization,the service industry is developing rapidly.The service trade has gradually become a new area of international trade competition,and its position in international trade has become more and more irreplaceable.Although the service trade in some developed countries such as the United States,Japan and some Europe countries has distinct advantages in world service trades,the contribution of emerging economies of the world trade is also increasing.BRICS,a group of five main developing countries in the world,is becoming an important force to lead the world economy development and promote the global economy transform,showing great potential in world service trades.Therefore,the study on the development of service trade among BRICS countries has practical and important significance to strengthen the cooperation in BRICS countries' service trades and accelerate the BRICS countries' service industry.The study is trying to analyze the potential of service trade of BRICS countries and possible directions in the development of world service trades with the index of VRCA ?ES and TCI.Through systematic analysis of the status quo of service trade of BRICS countries,it's not difficult to find the increments in the gross production of service trades and increasing competences of BRICS countries.Meanwhile,the structures of export and import in BRICS countries are similar,depending on traditional service trades;except for India,the other four countries show trade deficits in the world trade.By analyzing the service trade competitiveness of BRICS and the Trade Complementarity Index,this paper shows that the comprehensive competence of BRICS is still at low level,and the competence of traditional service trade is greater than that of contemporary service trade,and there are also some other problems like like the lack of service trade development foundation,unreasonable trade structure,he concentration of the competitive and complementary industry,the lack of technological innovation and technical talents,unstrong driving effection by trade in goods,the low degree of organization,the unclear strategic planning,the disfunction of the service trade cooperation mechanism and so on.That is to say,countries in the BRICS have great complementarities and multitude potential of cooperation.This paper gives some suggestions on promoting the construction of domestic infrastructure,enhancing trades in the industry,improving the internal structure of service trade,training and introducing talents with excellent trade knowledge,creating a "wild goose" industry pattern,increasing trade policy supports,focusing on strategic planning of service trade,building a good service trade environment,under the considerations of the drawbacks in the service trades of BRICS countries.
