With economic globalization and rapid development of high technology, more and more enterprises realize that employee engagement directly affect their performances. The importance of employee engagement is well known gradually and become hot spots of management practice which enterprise pay much concern.The study on influencing factor of employee engagement is the core foundation of employee engagement management. Base on the researches what have been done, the content mainly focus on nature of the job, like job qualification, compensation, resources, job feedback, job safety, job characteristics and work interactive features etc. However, there is fewer research on individual level which only cover demographic variables and personal character. In recent year, people begin to study on the relationship between work value and employee engagement, which found that work value did has direct impact on employee engagement. For example, the study found that employee engagement is effected by work value, personality, psychology capital directly. However, most research emphasized on direct relationship analysis and seldom on other influential factor among the relationship. And all those studies are no sufficient empirical research.Therefore, this study is to explore how work value impact employee engagement and how psychology capital is moderating the relationship between work value and employee engagement through questionnaire survey. On the basis of previous studies, it makes preliminarily discussion on influencing mechanism caused by work value to find out method on improving employee engagement.The research integrated use of questionnaire survey to investigate 260 employees in Shanghai at random, a total of 234 valid questionnaires were collected, and the effective rate was 90%.The analyze data to get the below result:(1) Work value has a predictor on engagement.The objective values have significant positive predictive effect on engagement. The instrumental values have a significant negative predictive effect on engagement.(2) Psychological capital has a positive predictive effect on engagement.(3) Psychology Capital has a modulation effect on the relationship between Work Value and Engagement.Psychology Capital does not have a modulation effect in the relationship between the objective values and engagement. Psychology Capital have a positive moderation effect in the relationship between the instrumental values and engagement. In the high psychological capital, the instrumental work value has a less negative effect on the engagement. In low psychological capital, the instrumental work value has a stronger influence on the engagement.
