The current social environment encourages enterprises to undertake social responsibilities.Volunteering has become part of the corporate social responsibility strategy,employee volunteering as part of corporate social responsibility,More and more attention has been paid to employee volunteering in academia and industry.So far,Most of the research focuses on the positive impact of employee participation in volunteer behavior.However,how to promote employee participation in corporate volunteer service projects? What is the motivation for employees to participate in volunteering? There are very few scholars to touch.Therefore,it is necessary for academia and business to have an in-depth understanding of the relationship between employees and volunteering,so as to promote employees' participation in corporate volunteering.Relevant studies have shown that the sense of meaning at work has a strong impetus to the volunteer behavior of employees,but the research on the mechanism between the two is relatively scarce in the context of organizational.Therefore,this study will explore the influence mechanism of work meaning on employee volunteering,and introduce work engagement as an intermediary variable and the corporate volunteering climate as a moderator variable.In this study,questionnaires were used to investigate the employees of enterprises in jiang xi,guang xi,gui zhou and guang dong.Invalid and missing questionnaires were deleted and valid data of 368 employees in 26 enterprises were obtained.SPSS24.0 survey data were used for reliability and validity analysis and descriptive statistical analysis,AMOS24.0 and HLM6.0 were respectively used to test the mediating effect and regulating effect of the research model.Research results show that:(1)the work meaning has a significant positive impact on employee volunteering;(2)the work meaning has a significant positive impact on employees' work engagement;(3)the work engagement has a significant positive impact on employee volunteering;(4)the work engagement plays a partial mediation role between the sense of work meaning and employee volunteering;(5)the corporate volunteering climate plays a positive regulating role between the work meaning and employees' work engagement.The conclusion of this study is helpful to deepen the understanding of the mechanism of the influence of the work meaning on employee volunteering,further expand the research in the field of employee volunteering,and promote the further exploration of volunteer behavior from the individual level to the organizational level.According to the above research conclusions,in the practice of enterprise management,enterprise managers need to strengthen the emotional care of employees in their daily management work,focusing on enhancing the sense of value and significance of employees to their own work;At the same time,deepen the participation of enterprise volunteer service,provide a variety of ways to improve the enthusiasm of employees in the organization to participate in volunteering,development of corporate volunteering climate;In addition,business operators should take active measures to improve organizational management,provide material and spiritual support for employees to improve their work meaning,so as to improve their job satisfaction and motivate employees to participate in volunteering.
