Rural banks develop bearing the expectation from all walks of life, and its creation is undoubtedly a very important event in the entire financial sector. Whether in its originality or in its ability to coordinate economic development, it has much to be proud of and learned. In accordance with the typical market positioning theory, it’s not difficult for us to compare and induct their respective characteristics through specific examples of rural banks and the corresponding investigation and Analysis methods, start with the status and differences between Q rural bank and other banks and find the space and management methods of enhancement and development, and eventually enable it to have a long-term, sustainable and steady development. This thesis consists of four parts: first, it introduces the existing theories of the subject at home and abroad, and makes a detailed exposition of some important concepts; then it analyzes the development and current situation at home and abroad, finds various dominant management schemes in accordance with the rules of development and the characteristics of rural banks in China, and further discusses these solutions; next, it provides in-depth case studies on the main object Q rural bank, which focus on the following five parts, including corporate governance, science and technology service, management mode, business development and talent introduction, which have their own advantages and disadvantages. Our main task is to sum them up and focus on those weaknesses which can be improved; finally, according to the main analysis process, it makes recommendations on the management model of Q rural bank, which focus on making an empirical study on improving the management model of Q rural bank from both the regulatory authorities and rural banks themselves, further refine the points and summarize the paper.Through the research, this paper draws the following conclusions:(1)First of all, the management modes of rural banks are varied. They can find their own way and method under different conditions and finally meet the management demands of specific stage. Therefore, there is no absolute difference between different forms of organization. The major four kinds of management mode are management type, group type, branch type, common type respectively. There is correlation as well as difference between the various modes. All kinds of launched rural banks must have long-term development ability and can be fine and strong to some extend as long as earnestly performing their duties and improving the ability to resist risks in accordance with the requirements of regulation.(2)It’s difficult to achieve the sustainable development of the rural financial system simply by the expansion of rural banks. On the one hand, rural banks belong to joint-stock commercial banks. The private capital and profit attributes restrict the function of supporting the development of agriculture; on the other hand, the self-development and success or failure of rural banks needs to be further tested by time.(3)Through the analysis of the management mode of rural banks, the corporation will be the general management mode, which can enable rural banks to maximize the realization of specialized operation and scale development and be conducive to centralize the management of rural banks, realizing benefits through expanding scales.(4)Based on the analysis on the group management mode and the comparison and elaboration of the current situation of Q rural bank, we can find three major advantages of the group management mode: first, customers ensure maximum benefits of the primary banks and maintain absolute management of rural banks; second, it is the best way to achieve the legal status of the rural banks and it can achieve the maximum benefits of each shareholder; third, it’s conducive to enhance the popularity of rural banks and the identification of the public and the majority of customers in a short period of time, promoting the business development.(5)Last but not least, there must be many deficiencies in the management mode of Q rural bank. The two levels and six aspects of problems must be solved. First, the level of supervision need to establish communication mechanisms and improve the management system; second, the level of rural banks need to improve corporate governance, accelerate the construction of information technology, improve the incentive mechanism and innovate ways of business development, creating a good environment and platform for the development of rural banks.
