The Strategies Of Transformation To Modern Logistics Of Kunming Railway Administration

At present, with the rapid development of the social economy, China’s logistics industry has maintained a sustained and rapid development momentum. With the mismatch between railway transportation production and market demand, the railway enterprise lacks self-consciousness of increase revenue and reduce expenditure, downsize staffs and improve efficiency, also the input output concept is weak and lack of market competition ability, the railway traditional "boss" status is suffering challenge by the rapid rise of highway, civil aviation, combined with each mode of transportation, the proportion of railway decreased year by year, so how to improve the current situation by the improvement and development of the logistics industry becomes the key. From the development history of foreign railway, we can know that the development of modern logistics is an effective way to improve profit and the market competition ability of the railway. Since the "Twelfth Five Year" plan, the transformation of the railway to the modern logistics industry is facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges.Kunming Railway Bureau is located in the joint of China, Southeast Asia and South Asia’s three major markets, the geographical location is complex, the variety of goods is various, and therefore, transformation of Kunming railway to modern logistics should take full account of the needs of various types of goods and enterprises. In this paper, Kunming Railway Bureau as the research background, the paper analyzes the transformation of foreign railway to modern logistics and the development of modern logistics in China. Secondly, in order to the sustainable development of modern logistics of Kunming Railway Bureau, the paper analyzes the freight transportation demand in Kunming Railway Bureau in recent years and the freight transportation structure of Kunming Railway Bureau, forecast the volume of railway freight demand of Kunming Railway Bureau in a few year through moving average method and growth rate method. Finally, through analyzes the development experience of foreign modern logistics and current status of Kunming Railway Bureau, suggestions and countermeasures on construction of modern logistics, marketing management and personnel training are given in the paper.
