In recent years, people’s living standards continue to improve, the quick pace of life, work pressure big, a series of social and environmental matters such as serious pollution of air and water also brought a lot of health matters, the emergence of these matters, make more and more people begin to attach importance to mental and physical health. Based on the perspective of "LOHAS" concept of health resources for the development of Xinyang tourism source market characteristics and problems have been studied, and on this basis, put forward strategies to promote their development.First of all,this paper explains the research basics, research meaning and theoretical basis, and based on the work of hundreds of researchers comprehensive connotation of health tourism is defined. This paper argues that health tourism is refers to the people in order to satisfy the physical and mental fitness, longevity and health, culture, fix health care, the demand such as relaxed leisure motivation and left the local, to owned or provide to meet the demand of this kind of special health products needed to complete the health tourism activities and corresponding supporting facilities and services of place or destination, to health care, relieving physical and mental, keeping in good health culture experience as the main way of high grade, high grade special tourism activities.The main body part of Xinyang health tourism development conditions are analyzed, and questionnaires, from travel motivation, resources, preferences, behavior characteristics and other aspects of personal understanding of the needs of the tourist market.
