Effect Of China On Export Trade Competitiveness And Potentiality Of Agricultural Products To BRICS

In recent years, Chinese agricultural products have performed a powerful an d developed state because of the deeply development of Global Economic Integration. However, the export markets which are so concentrated is the reason that hinder the development of the trade of Chinese agricultural products. China should explore the agricultural trade market of emerging economies positively, to diffuse the risk of Chinese agricultural products’ exit and realize the sustainable development and its diversified trade channels. The speed of BRICS economic growth is quick and growth potential is huge. These two reasons make it as a typical example in global emerging economies. Meanwhile, as a important agricultural country in the world, the BRICS has a very important status in the agricultural field of foreign trade. With data displayed, the ag ricultural trade valume of China and other BRICS grow increasingly, and other BRICS had been becoming very important trade partners.The research aim at evaluating the present situation about agricultural products trading, estimating trade competitiveness level and judging the export trade potential of agricultural products between China and other BRICS.Then, I will come up with some suggestions about potential for export trade of Chinese agricultural products between China and other BRICS which is based on results.Based on Theory of Comparative Advantage, Theory of Competitive Advantages and Heckscher-Olin Theory, I choose TC and RCA to calculate agricultural export trade competitiveness between China and other BRICS and analysis its trend and level.The research on empirical method has built the Gravity Model of Trade which is to analysis GDP per capita, geographical distance, gross farm production choosed dummy variables and some other reasons how to influence the agricultural trade valume of China and o ther BRICS. So we can calculate agricultural products’ exporting trade potential between China and other BRICS from 2000 to 2013 and analysis its trend potentially based on the regression results of Gravity Model of Trade.Studies have shown,the exporting structure of agricultural products between China and other BRICS is unreasonable. The level of exporting trade competitiveness of agricultural products between China and other BRICS is inbalance seriously, and different with othe r countries obviously. Real GDP per capita and geographical distance are the most important reasons that can influence Chinese agricultural products to trade. The two trade partners are WTO members. They have the same preferential policy because of WTO in order to make good influence on both sides. The potential for trade export is becoming huge increasingly. The export trade of Chinese agricultural products have big business, but export more and more difficult.Lastly, I will come up with some suggestions about potential for export trade of Chinese agricultural products between China and other BRICS which is based on results.
