In the wake of the integration of economic and the deepening of international division of labor, international trade in service has become very important, and it gradually plays a key role in measuring a country’s overall level of development and international trade competitiveness. After accessing to WTO, China’s service trade opened to outside in a wider range, which led a quickly development in it’s service trade: China’s service trade volume rised from $71.9 billion in 2001 to $604.3 billion in 2014, ranks the world’s higest. But the structure of China’s service trade has many problems, such as the imblance between import and export, the low level of trade in service, the unblanced development of service trade and so on. In the Asia Pacific economic cooperation(APEC) Summit General Secretary of 2014, XI Jinping proposed "new normal" concepts, emphasized that development was not the pursuit of purely economic growth, but need to form a healthy and sustainable economic growth. Proposed the main features of “new normal”: firstly, economy grows from a high speed to a less high speed; secondly, the economic structure is optimizing and upgrading constantly, and the tertiary industry consumption demand has gradually become the main; thirdly, the former factor-driven and investment-driven economy changes to driven by innovation. It can be seen that China’s trade in service is not yet adapted the environment of "new normal", the service trade’s increase only belongs to growth area, has not yet reached development area, whose characteristic is healthy and sustainable growth. Therefore, how to improve the current situation of the development of China’s service trade, how to promote it’s adaptability to current environment of "new normal", and how to maintain a healthy and sustainable development is now one of the more important issues. In addition, the establishment of the free trade zone in Shanghai contributes to a new round of opening up of the service sector and provide many opportunities for the development of China service trade. Whether China can seize this opportunity to improve it’s service trade competitiveness also need to focus on.This paper begin with the analysis of China’s service trade and world’s service trade’s development status, make China compared with the seven country group(G7) in developed level and BRICs in the level of developing, full analysis China’s service trade’s status in international market; Then analyse the development of China’s every kinds of service trade and compare them with G7 and BRICs. Through the current situation’s analysis of China’s service trade, we can see that although Chinese service trade’s scale is expanding, it’s structure is unreasonable, China’s overall level of competitiveness of service trade in international market is not high. This article follow gives a regression analysis of the four basic elements’ s, which are made as factors of external environment and have effect on a country’s trade competitiveness according to Michael Porter’s theory of competitive advantage of nations. Then supplement the element of service trade’s structure to analyse their specific impact to the international competitiveness of service trade. Finally, according to the conclusions of regression analysis, likewise from the internal structure and the external environment, put forward possible solutions to help China improve it’s service trade’s international competitiveness.
