Analysis Of International Competitiveness Of China’s Service Trade

With the rapid develop of the global economy, the development of service industry and service trade is also showing new situation and characteristics, the proportion of international service trade in international trade is rising, service trade has gradual been an important factor affecting the economic development of a country, the international competitiveness of service trade is increasingly an important criterion to evaluate a country’s overall international competitiveness. Today the economy of most developed countries are in the service industry as the leading. Under the synthesized international background, China’s service trade is also showing a trend of rapid development.the import and export volume also jumped to the forefront of the world. But there are many problems in the rapid development of service trade.For example,China’s service trade is in deficit of long-term in international service trade, the degree of openness in service trade is very low,the regional development of service trade is unbalanced, the related laws of service trade is not perfect and so on.These are serious constraints to the improvement of the international competitiveness of China’s service trade.At present,China pays more attention to service trade, but there is a certain gap between China’s service trade and the developed countries’. Therefore, aiming at the problems in the development of China’s service trade,narrowing the gap with service trade of the developed countries,scientifically analysing the international competitiveness of China’s service trade and improving it are very important.The ideas of this paper:first of all, this paper elaborates the historical background of it and the current situation of the domestic and foreign scholars’ study on this problem,at the same time,it puts forward the purpose and significance of the study of this paper;Secondly this paper defined the related concepts of service trade and introduced the current international competition theory.And then for the existing problems in the development of China’s service trade,it comprehensively used the index of service trade competitiveness to analyze the international competitiveness of China’s service trade.Combining the results of the analysis and basing on Porter’s diamond system,it further analyzed the impact factors of international competitiveness of China’s service trade.These analyses all indicated that the international competitiveness of China’s service trade has a lower overall level.And then combining with other typical countries’experience to enhance the international competitiveness of service trade,we can explore the suitable methods to enhance international competitiveness of China’s service trade from theses experience. Finally,according to the above analysis and aiming at the existing problems in the development,this paper puts forward to the countermeasures to enhance the international competitiveness at both macroscopic and microscopic levels,including the macro countermeasures to optimize the industrial structure of the service industry,to expand the opening degree of the market of service trade, to strengthen the function of government’s guidance and aid and so on and the micro countermeasures to seek transnational operation,to actively undertake international service outsourcing and so on.
