Developing service industry and service trade should accord with world economic structure adjustment and china's economy development strategy. Though China has achieved great progresses in service trade after implementation of the reform and opening-up policy, it still faces tremendous pressures as adverse balance of service trade deficit increases substantively.This paper utilizes the theory of industrial international competitiveness in service trade area, analyzes the influencing factors and existing evaluating indicators of the service trade international competitiveness systematically, and establishes a suit of evaluating indicators of service trade international competitiveness. Through the establishment of a comprehensive and industrial comparative analysis of our service trade competitiveness with the leading countries in the world, we found a gap and the problems in Chinese service trade, and brought forward some countermeasures.The conclusion is as follows: Under adverse circumstances in advanced productive factors and the interaction of the enterprises, competition and the interrelated industry, China' service industry is lagging behind. At the same time, Chinese service trade market opening degree is at a low level. The adverse balance of Chinese service trade deficit is broadening. Comparing with other countries, most of Chinese service departments export competitiveness is faint, especially finace, insurance, patent, consultation and information industries, and it could not be inproved in the near future. Subsequently, based on the conclusion made by the certain analysis, the author makes some useful suggestions on the efficient way to enhance our service trade competitiveness from the point of view of government, industry, and enterprises.
