Evaluation And Research Of Shenyang Eco-city Construction

A city is the main place to human engaged in material production and exchange, it is the carrier of human economic activities. It is of profound significance and it is the enormous role to the development of human beings. At the same time, with the advancement of global industrialization and the evolution of the city, all kinds of "city disease" appear endlessly. For example energy resource increasingly drying up, population expanding and the worsening of ecological environment. In this context, people think of the concept of ecological city, which is the inevitable result of the evolution of the concept of human survival and development constantly. Ecological city is emphasis on coordinated development of man and nature, people and the environment and it is a kind of tolerance type development. It is also the inevitable trend of the future urban construction.Shenyang is the capital city of Liaoning province and it is the gateway of the northeast industrial basement. It has made remarkable achievements and rapid development. Meanwhile, Shenyang is also faced with the contradictions of urban development and ecological environment protection. The construction of ecological city can effectively solve the above problems and contradictions, which can inject fresh blood and promote sustainable development to Shenyang.This paper gives the concept of ecological city and its characteristics and consults related studies of ecological city at home and abroad. It evaluates Shenyang ecological city construction with economic and social and ecological dimensions. Firstly, it is given the qualitative analysis of Shenyang with economic statement and social development and environmental condition, it also gives favorable conditions and restrictive factors in the course of the construction of ecological city. Secondly it provides the principle of eco-city and builds the synthetic evaluation system of Shenyang with three dimensions and 14 specific indicators by entropy method. The empirical research includes the data of 2010-2014 and gets the conclusion. It also chooses Wuhan and Harbin as the comparison to draw relevant conclusions. Finally it gives suggestions to Shenyang with the above three dimensions.
