Reserch On The Convergence Of Economic Growth In Jilin Province

Jilin Province is located in Central Northeast area of China. Therefore, the author believes that the study of the economic development in Jilin Province in recent years, whether the balance is of great significance.In this study, the author introduces the concept of convergence of economic development, which is used to measure the balance of regional economic development. This study focuses on the trend of economic development in all prefecture level city in Jilin Province, Jilin Province of the direction of economic development is all prefecture level city economic convergence development, or income gap is more and more big divergence development problems. At first, the author reviewed the economic growth convergence in the field of literature research achievements, referring to some successful experiences and methods, then mainly introduces the differences around the city of Jilin Province Economic Growth Situation and the present stage of economic growth, in order to of Jilin province level city economic conditions have a front and deep understanding. Because of Songyuan City in 1992 became independent as a prefecture level city and the statistics out in 1992- 2014 years of economic growth data, by constructing econometric model to verify around the city of Jilin Province economic growth convergence. The main verification method with delta convergence, absolute convergence in beta and beta convergence, according to the calculation results, put forward some conducive to Jilin Province Economic Growth Convergence development policy recommendations, in order to provide some policy reference and theoretical guidance for development of Jilin province’s economic future balanced and stable.
