| Economic growth is the base and premise of the development of economy and the improvement of society to a country or a region, therefore it has been the main research topic of economics for a long time. Economists always pay more attention on the long-run trend and the inner mechanism of the economic growth. The attracting anticipation to the long-run trend of economic growth was put forward by convergence hypothesis based on the neoclassical economic growth model. On this ground, the issue of convergence or divergence, the speed of convergence and the cause of convergence, were became the hot topics of economics study. Since the reform and open-to-the–outside-world policy came into effect, Chinese national economy has gained rapidly growth at whole up, at the same time, the difference of growth among the regions has been keeping widening too. Whether the difference of Chinese economic growth can be reduced, namely, whether Chinese economic growth is convergence and how to realize convergence etc. the economists put forward all kinds of opinions. Whereas, economic growth is a complex system in which all factors effect each other, therefore, we must research economic growth from the angle of system, we can achieve better conclusion.The article is based on the regional economic convergence theory and the correlative research results, and utilizes some specific methods such as qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, static analysis and dynamic analysis, comparing analysis and so on. At the same time, the author lays great stress on the process feature of regional economic growth in this article, and thinks the process feature of regional economic growth in china was indicated by these variables: the physical capital, the human capital, the open to the outside world, the infrastructure, etc. The economic convergence among provinces and within three regions in china is analyzed across-the-aboard in this article from the new angle of view.The article consists of five parts:... |
