The Financial Structure Of Tianjin And Analysis Of Industry Development

One important measure of financial development is a reasonable financial structure. It plays an essential role to the economic and industrial development. A coordinated financial structure can stimulate the improvement of economy. On the contrary, it will limit economic growth. This paper takes Tianjin as the research object and chooses Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang as comparison citys, making Nanjing and Hangzhou as the representative city of Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces. Through taking a combination of qualitative and quantitative research as the basic method, this paper study the relationship between regional financial structure and industrial development. On the basis of describing the role of financial structure to industrial development, from the horizontal and vertical angles, this paper uses a variety of financial structural indicators to study the difference among the financial sturctures of Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang. Combining with the different geographical features and economic basis, this paper analyzes the different strategies and positioning functions of the five districts. Then through the empirical test of the major financial assets and local economic development, it analyzes the relationship between three main financial assets and economic development.This paper finds that over these years, there are big differences among the economical contribution of Tianjin’s three mian financial assets, and there is financing ratio imbalance.。Finally, according to the conclusions of previous discussion, combined with Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing’s development strategy and experience, on the background of the integration of Jing-Jin-Ji and the improvement of Bohai Bay Rim area, this paper makes many policy recommendations to optimize the financial structure of Tianjin, from the angle of indirect financing, developing diversified financing channels, developing insurance market and financial innovation.
