Since opening to the outside world, China gradually began to transfer from a planned economy to a marketing economy. The national economy has been making great progress. Along with economic development, there are appearing more and more high-income people. The tourism industry also began to flourish. Within a few years, tourism industry jump not only in the scale several times, its quantity and quality has also made significant progress. However, in the process of rapid development, there are some side effects occurring, such as intensified competition, repeated vicious competition, which has brought harmful effects to the booming tourism industry. At the same time, along with the rich and varied life, people’s consumption concept also are changing quietly. Customers no longer simply pay attention to price, but pay more attention to product quality and the agent’s services. Therefore, how to formulate developing strategies in line with the market dynamics, became the entrepreneur’s research focus.The author take a study of tourism and social development issues, in M travel agent’s case, try to learn and absorb the advanced management experiences of western countries, and then combined with the development of domestic tourism situation, put forward a series of solutions for the development of tourism companies for reference. During the analysis of this article, the author use modern management theory to study the current development status of the M travel agent. Through careful analysis and discussion and in-depth anatomy, the author try to look for the root cause of the problem.The essay relates to the five forces analysis, macro environment analysis, PEST and SWOT analysis.
