Production Line Productivity Improving Based On VSM Analysis In S Company

Nowadays Lean manufacture thought has been accepted nearly by all of the company. It is a good way for manufacturing to eliminate waste,saving cost and gain the market sharing. But how to effectively practice Lean manufacturing in plant? What kind of lean projects should be launched? And how to get the prospective target? It is obviously that not all company management level could give their answers,That’s why so many companies did not get their target after they had put a lot of money and human power into lean projects. The main reason is they can not well understand and handle the lean manufacture procedure by system methods. They can not analysis and find the defects from the whole process by macro-scope. They just launched the separately projects without any logical connection and clear target,causing company management disordering and the improving projects’ failure. Therefore this thesis will introduce how to use VSM in the production line improving. Explain how to design the process according to customer requirement,how to make the balance between all of processes,how to find the problems from material flow and information flow,and how to solve those problems. Meanwhile,based on VSM analysis,the thesis also introduced overall productivity maintenance. The thesis expresses the principle of the VSM basing on the actual practices examples. It provides a useful reference to those companies which may face a lot of problems when they launched the lean manufacture project.
