The Report Of RIPP Blade Cluster Project Quality Management

In the big data era, the purpose of Sinopec Research Institute of Petroleum Processing (hereinafter referred to as RIPP) blade cluster project is to enhance the organizational high performance computing ability in the peers, accelerate the research process, and save the cost of R&D. The new blade system intends to achieve the leading position of R&D ability of RIPP and even China Sinopec.This paper presents the insights of RIPP blade cluster project management via investigating the whole process of this project and deep analysis, in order to find out what issues that restrained the level of quality and the inherent causes of that. Further, this thesis provides the appropriate solution of the quality management system for RIPP to standardize and normalize the process of this project intended to enhance the level of the organizational management and core competitiveness.The research shows the scope of RIPP blade cluster project, and identifies the top 5 issues those may easily lead to quality problem from 18 possible problem phases from the experienced summary of previous completed projects. This paper analyzes the top 5 issues, and indicates the key point, difficulty and risk of quality management. The team of QC investigated the five different quality problems, including dependency management experience, lack of consideration of project plan, weak quality conscious of some staff, the indifference of periodical review, check, and acceptance. The primary cause that leads to the problem is that the project quality assurance system is imperfect, and lack of training in quality management.Based on the research and analysis, this paper offers a feasible quality management plan, and confirms the quality requirements and standards, set up the quality measurements, and build the process of quality management. Meanwhile, it provides a best and practical solution for the RIPP blade cluster project.
