Reseach On Supplier Management In Optoelectronic Industry Based On Ningbo Sunny Opotech Case

With global economic integration and being more and more serious the enterprise competition is nowadays, it is difficult to imagin and unrealistic for any enterprise to stick out on its own effort under more and more competitive envioment.Therefore it become important research topic in competition strategy to utilize the same supply chain model as its partners.This thesis briefly introduced background of supply chain management, the importance of supply chain management in the opto-electronics industry and the benefit and risk to build partnership. We just made detailed analysis toward the theory of supplier management in opto-electronics field which is an emerging industry, especially put forward with how to choose supplier, importance and methodology of evaluation towards supplier and sharing model between enterprise and its suppliers and the benefit and risk to use enterprise resource to reduce supplier cost and get to win-win situation.This thesis mainly did analysis toward Ningbo Sunny Opotech’s real condition, verify the main optimization items. This company just established new Sourcing Deptment for supply chain management through improvement on supplier management and make methodology of supplier management clearer, perfectified supplier management precess, set up reasonal evaluation system, enhanced classification management and risk management towards suppliers, reduced risk of purchasing and R&D and optimized its own supply chain and increase efficiency of supply chain and decrease operation cost and improved performance management towards suppliers and collected certain successful experience ultimately.
