The Strategy Research Of Wuhan Regional Logistics Center

In the government work report 2015,it points out that China’s economy will continue to develop at the rate of around 7% steadily and healthy, and at the same time, it also puts forward the growth strategy of relying on the construction of golden waterway along the Yangtze River economic belt. The population and the GDP of the region are accounted for more than 40% of the national’s. For the location in the hinterland of the state, it is of the great significance to the connection between the east and the west, and the development of the western region. The strategy of Yangtze River economic belt is a far-reaching one, for it will generate mutual cooperation and communication between those original isolated economic circle, and it plays an important role to promote the prosperity of national economy development.Wuhan, in Hubei province, is not only located in the center of the Yangtze river economic belt, but also the Beijing-Guangzhou railway, Shanghai-Wuhan-Chengdu highway, the Yangtze river waterway. The geographical position of Wuhan is superior, known as the name of "thorough fares of nine provinces". For the transportation of the region is convenient, the economy is wealthy, the material circulation is frequent, the government policy is supportive, Wuhan is the most suitable place to be the modern logistics distribution center.With the logistics development situation at home and abroad, selecting the Shanghai, Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan, Japan, Germany and other regions and countries as the main reference objects, using different methods of theoretical research and empirical analysis, through the analysis of the location factors, logistics demand, economic conditions, etc., taking the reference of the successful experience domestic and abroad, this paper put forward the idea of logistics park or logistics center in Wuhan with the aspects of development model, space layout, transportation system, functional location etc. According to the current serious problems existing in the logistics business enterprise, this paper puts forward the corresponding solution strategy. Through the implementation of the project, try to build Wuhan into a large-scale, intensive, informational modern regional logistics center.
