Research On Supplier Evaluation System Based On The Supply Chain Of A Company

With the globalization of the market economy, competition among enterprises is becoming increasingly fierce, supply chain has grown to become an important part of the way to stand out in the market competition, and suppliers is one of the most important part of the supply chain. Under this background, enterprises pay more and more attention to the evaluation of suppliers. They can optimize the supplier evaluation system ceaselessly according to the market change which can improve their Competitiveness.In this paper, we study the evaluation issue of A iron and steel enterprise supplier. The development of steel industry as the pillar industry of the country is related to national economic security and national economic development. A company is one of the most important company in steel industry. It’s a strong representation to the iron and steel enterprises supplier selection, The purpose of this paper is to study the specific circumstances of the relevant literature research and the situation of A company so we can set a more comprehensive supplier evaluation system.Firstly, analysis the research background, research trends, the content and methods of the research. Secondly, we set up a supplier evaluation system for A company on the base of its present situation and the related research which including establish evaluation index, determine the index weight, the analytic hierarchy process and verification by the expert scoring method. And we use an example to demonstrate the feasibility of this method. Finally, we put forward suggestions for the related problems of supplier evaluation and counter measures.
