L group is the world's largest eyewear manufacturing enterprise.Its products cover most of the famous fashion brands in the world.In the past decades of development,L group keeps expanding and strengthening the global presence.As a wholly owned subsidiary of L group in China,H Company undertakes more than 40% of shipments of L group.Its delivery performance plays a very important role for the group's expansion strategy implementation effect.H Company's eyewear business belongs to high profits industry.The management mostly focuses on the development of the market and lack of attention on the supplier management.Therefore,there is not a comprehensive supplier evaluation and selection mechanism available.The supplier management relies more on the on-the-job management personnel's personal preference rather than a company's unified management strategy.At the same time,lack of comprehensive evaluation on supplier and there are no corresponding rewards or punishment measures in place upon the evaluation result.So the supplier performance evaluation is superficial.This paper revolves around the existing supplier management and supplier evaluation and selection,analyzes current existing supplier management situation and its supplier evaluation and selection process.Supplier positioning model in combination with ABC classification & Kraljic model and supplier perception model are put forward to classify the supplier and define the management key points so as to promote the management efficiency.Also,a team consisting of cross-functional team member is recommended to substitute single department in the supplier selection process to avoid the moral risk or its bias due to lack of experience and make the evaluation and selection more comprehensive.For supplier evaluation index system,identify the concerned targets through internal discussion with related function and then adopt the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)to confirm the corresponding index weight.It will ensure the comprehensiveness and effectiveness of the index system to put into practical use.
