| It’s been a huge challenge to modern city management and program, since world economy develops rapidly, Global urban population grows fast, so as the growing scarcity of natural resources. If a city means to get the strategic commanding point of quick development, it should give full play to its current political, economic, social, cultural and other important center functions, and should be visionary, establish relevant policies in advance to deal with the coming of the next city stage——smart city. The smart-city construction is a new-pattern of innovation driven urban development, whose basic component is smart economic system, and continuous and effective development economic system decides how smart city develops. On the base of information and communication technology, smart city is ought to constitute by smart economic structure, industrial system and efficient growing urban economic activities. Smart city must not only be creative, but also happy and developing environment friendly.This paper will answer following questions : 1,what smart city and smart economic system, are and what essential characteristics they have got; 2,make a definition of urban economic smart index, and establish the relevant evaluation system to reveal the characteristics of temporal-spatial evolution; 3,testify an assumption——the relationship between urban economic smart index and economic strength exhibits u-shape. On the base of four characteristics——continuous, innovative, ecological and comfortable, an evaluation system of 14 indicators is established and is used to compute and analysis urban economic smart index. The research shows that the urban economic sma rt index could be divided into 3 categories: the highest index such as Shen Zhen, Shang Hai, Bei Jing and Guang Zhou, the medium index include 8 cities and the 22 lowest index cities. At the same time, according to dynamic panel model, the relationship between urban economic smart index and economic strength exhibits u-shape. |
