The Research Of Guangdong University Of Education Students’ Informal Organization From The Perspective Of Social Management

Hawthorne experiment which is hosted by Elton Mayo in suburban Chicago in the winter of 1924 is one of the most significant breakthroughs in the history of management. It focuses on the human factors, changes the original "economic man" point of view, and puts forward the concept of informal organization for the first time. Informal organization exists in all social organizations and plays an important role which has been a generally acknowledged fact, and the colleges and universities are no exception.With the development of our country’s socialist market economy and the deepening of the reform of higher education system, the thoughts of the students in colleges and universities become more active and their subject consciousness constantly strengthen and the demands also tend to be more diversified and personalized. In this background, the informal organization is becoming a new force in the college campus spontaneously which is based on various factors such as common hobbies, interests, aspirations, specialty, and regions and so on. They involve the wide scope, large number and significant influence. How to effectively manage and guide the contemporary college students’ informal organization is a new subject.At present, most domestic colleges pay less attention and cognition to the informal organization in college students. According to sorting out the relevant research theory of informal organization at home and abroad, this article analyses the present situation and problems of college students’ informal organization in our country. Combining with the practical survey research and statistical analysis of Guangdong University of Education students’ informal organization, this article aims to put forward a set of effective management measures and methods which provides more systematized and perfect assistances and references to the practical administrator to build harmonious college campus.
