Comprehensive Performance Of Chinese Manufacturing Enterprises’ Overseas M&A

With the acceleration of the integration of the world economy, cross-border M & A has become one of the important way for Chinese enterprises to seek international development and access to resources, especially manufacturing enterprises in China. Along with the development of Southeast Asia and other countries launched the cost competition, Chinese enterprises need cross-border M & A and other ways to enhance their competitiveness. In the past decade, China’s manufacturing enterprises have begun to gradually implement the "going out" cross-border M & A, won the market, technology, personnel and other important factors of foreign enterprises, cross-border M & A has gradually become the important choice to integrate resources in the global economic competition. How to realize the quality of China’s manufacturing enterprises in the wave of cross-border M & A? How Chinese enterprises cross-border M & A performance today? Has cross-border M & A enhanced China’s manufacturing enterprises’ profit ability, development ability and the innovation ability? Exploring these issues has an important theoretical and practical significance.Based on the analysis on motives and the current situation and influencing factors of cross-border M & A, this article choose china’s cross-border M & A from 2007 to 2012 as the research sample, using empirical methods of factor analysis. Study on the comprehensive performance, covers the three dimensions of the enterprise’s profit ability, development ability and the innovation ability, establishing the corresponding evaluation index system, calculated the score of the comprehensive performance of enterprises. The results of this study show that the cross-border M & A has a positive effect on the china’s manufacturing enterprise integrated performance Based on the results and related theories, this paper proposes some suggestions from the aspects of integration after the acquisition, sustainable innovation and comprehensive acquisition strategy and government’s support, in order to provide corresponding theoretical support for china’s enterprises cross-border M & A.
