Technology Adoption Behavior Of Farmers’Professional Cooperatives

Agriculture is the foundation of our national economy, is the support of the entire national economy unceasing development and the progress of guarantee. With the fast development of agriculture can not be separated from the agricultural science and technology, the more agricultural science and technology achievements in China, but its achievements conversion rate is relatively low, the larger gap compared with developed countries, the promotion and the diffusion of agricultural technology in agricultural production in poor effect. Therefore, accelerating the development of agricultural science and technology, popularization of agricultural technology, is of great significance to promote the development of agriculture. At present, many agricultural science and technology promotion methods and means, farmer professional cooperatives play an important role in the technology transfer process. This paper takes Hunan Province Changsha City Grain cooperatives as an example, the status and development of specialized farmers’ cooperatives in technology adoption behavior research, related research results obtained the technology adoption, for the healthy development of farmer specialized cooperatives and promote the effective promotion of the rational suggestions. The main contents of this paper focuses on two aspects, on two different subjects of technology adoption behavior, namely the farmer specialized cooperative organization, cooperative members of the individual level of technology adoption. Based on the investigation, the professional farmers cooperatives, cooperative technology adoption characteristics, technology adoption factors were studied and analyzed, and the corresponding results and conclusion.Through the analysis of survey data, we can be the farmer specialized cooperatives technology adoption process is divided into cognitive stage, organizational decision stage, testing stage, technology adoption stage, technology promotion stage five stages, main factors affecting the adoption of new agricultural technologies, including the characteristics of cooperatives, cooperatives in size and strength cohesion, cooperatives, cooperatives responsible person of social status and social relationships; cooperative technology adoption can be divided into careful analysis stage, stage of understanding, evaluation stage, decision stage, the verification phase six stages, the characteristics of technology adoption process with a clear purpose, practical and strong stability of heart the factors affecting the adoption of technology, members include age, gender, culture level members, attitude, rice planting area, form, family labor force members of family income level,cooperatives responsible person and policy etc.
