Research On The Transfer Of Rural Surplus Labor Under The New Urbanization

Transfer of rural surplus labor is an important issue related to farmers, agriculture, rural and the whole economic system, which has a profound impact on the vital interests of the people and change of the economy and society. Especially under the new urbanization development background, people-oriented become the core concept, make the study of the transfer of rural surplus labor force has more important theoretical and practical significance.In this paper, China’s rural surplus labor were estimated using the Man-days calculation method and International standard structure method based on the research status of the transfer of rural surplus labor and comprehensive overview of relevant theories. Furthermore, the paper gives an in-depth analysis on the transfer of rural surplus labor situation across the size and structure of the rural labor force, the total resources of rural practitioners and composition, and the mobility of rural labor. Secondly, an empirical research on the influencing factors of rural surplus labor transfer is done by using correlation analysis, principal component analysis and regression analysis, which provide a basis for the correction of the subsequent model. Again, according to the Todaro model and reality gap between China’s rural surplus labor transfer and Todaro model, Todaro model has corrected from the assumptions, the total labor mobility model and the individual mobility decision model, and further point out the theoretical and practical significance of the corrected Todaro model. Finally, transfer path and countermeasures of rural surplus labor force is proposed based on the new urbanization development background and foregoing analysis.This paper has some innovative and practical value, for instance the research perspective is still new, and research method is more comprehensive using statistical methods and measurement methods and the correction of the model is suitable for timely and so on.
