Today, knowledge plays more and more important role in the process of enterprise development. Enterprise should obtain more new knowledge and create new knowledge to create value for the customs and the society.G Academy of Building Research(GABR) is a state-owned technical service enterprise with high degree young employees. In this paper, we analyzed the current situation of knowledge management in GABR firstly. According to the theories of the tacit knowledge sharing and the current situation of GABR, a questionnaire, including four basic aspects of organization environment, incentive systems, the trust and cooperation among the employees, and the willing to share tacit knowledge, was designed for investigation. The result indicates that employees are willing to share their tacit knowledge generally, as well willing to accept others tacit knowledge and agree that sharing tacit knowledge can improve individual identity, and even the capacity and efficiency of the entire team. Therefore, it is the important basis of tacit knowledge sharing. However, the complexity of knowledge makes it difficult to share. And both the corporate culture and the incentive systems are also insufficient to furtherance tacit knowledge sharing in GABR. The further analysis carries on employer attributes found that employees in the institute department and the young employees are the main obstacles in tacit knowledge sharing.Finally, some countermeasures are raised for GABR to improve tacit knowledge sharing, such as formulating the strategy of knowledge management, making more efforts to publicize corporate culture in promoting innovation and sharing cultures, building learning organization and providing more various types of communication platform, encouraging employee with more material and spiritual rewards and even promotions, who has self- initiation in knowledge sharing, developing enterprise informatization and its knowledge synchronously.Those countermeasures are expected to improve the current situation of knowledge share in GABR, to strengthen the awareness of knowledge management, to form sharing culture, to realize better tacit knowledge sharing, and to enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises ultimately.This paper also hopes to provide a reference for other similar technical service enterprises or research institutions to strengthen knowledge management.
