Financial industry is very important to economy development and people’s life,the article studies the listed financial companies in China,including the large state-owned commercial Banks, bond, fund, insurance and other financial companies. Enterprise competitiveness is a intangible indicators, and through the financial indicators to quantify them, can be more intuitive to understand clearly the strength of the competitiveness of an enterprise, and change of the competitive enterprise on the basis of the original can remain competitive advantage, and less competitive enterprises can constantly improve their own financial system and management method, make the enterprise the competitive ability was improved. Through the study of literature at home and abroad, found that the recent scholars to study less, and most of them stay in theory research, and many are not research the financial growth ability of the enterprise. So the study of the competitiveness of listed financial companies in China that has age and has practicability and feasibility.The article will adopt the method of principal component analysis, the financial sector all 44 companies listed on the calculation of financial competition ability, the research of financial data covers all aspects of the is closely related to the enterprise’s financial indicators: profitability indicators(earnings per share, sales net profit margin,return on net assets, return on total assets) and operational capability index(accounts receivable turnover ratio, current asset turnover, fixed asset turnover and total asset turnover), solvency indicators(liquidity ratio, quick-frozen ratio, cash ratio and asset-liability ratio) and ignored by many scholars growth ability index(net profit growth rate, growth rate of net assets, total assets growth rate), a total of 15 items of financial data. Through principal component analysis(pca) to deal with these indicators and analysis, to get each enterprise on the principal component scores and comprehensive scores, and rank them.
