Research On The Growth Of Listed Companies Based On Financial Analysis

With the accession to World Trade Organization and the further opening of China’s tourism to the outside world, the slogan that China will be developed as a Great Tourism Power is shouted by the country and the same time developing the tourism industry into a pillar industry of the national economy is proceeded. Under the flag of tourism, the lodging industry also began to rise. Investors and other stakeholders are full of expectation on the development of lodging industry and how to judge the growth potential of a company is what they pay more attention to. Therefore, based on the financial data of five listed lodging companies, this paper researches the growth potential of the five companies. And for the investors and other stakeholders, it has an important theoretical value and practical significance.This paper makes a review of both the domestic and foreign researches about the growth of company and gives a clear definition of the growth and the growth of company. Taking five listed lodging companies, the paper makes an analysis in many aspects. First, making a transverse analysis of balance sheets of all the listed companies and summarizing the development of five companies in past three years; The second, individually analyzing the financial indicators about the growth of five companies, including debt paying ability, operating ability, profitability and development capacity, this is a kind of longitudinal comparison. In addition, scientifically selecting the financial indicators from the 2013 financial statement of the companies, which have a more important influence on the growth ability. Then making a comprehensive analysis and concluding the growth ranking of five companies. At last, we can get a scientific conclusion.The conclusion of the article:In five listed companies, Huatian Hotel Group Co.Ltd has the largest development potential, but Hainan Dadonghai Tourism Centre (Holdings)Co.Ltd has the weakest growth. There are also some deficiencies as follows:(1) This study only takes financial data into consideration, but it is just one of the internal factors of companies, we should also consider the other internal factors and external factors, such as the quality of management, management decision-making, state policies, laws and so on. (2) Although they all belong to the lodging industry, but different business areas will affect the development capacity.
