The secretary continuing education develops rapidly during the three decades of reform and opening-up in China. Nowadays the secretary continuing education is mainly composed of continuing education in universities, adult education and private training institutions which establish a wide range courses of secretary education. Many of them have gained some achievements in cultivating professional talents.With the development of Internet technology, interactive technology, and the wide use of mobile Internet technology, the online education is expected to be the further developing direction of secretary continuing education in China. However, the current academic researches that focus on "The Online Secretary Continuing Education" are very limited. And the universities and institutions which can provide online education and distance education are also limited. This research mainly studies on the development of online secretary continuing education and it puts forward some rational advices basing on the results of literature study and questionnaire survey.This research is mainly divided into seven parts. First of all, it introduces the research background, research significance and the main research methods used in this paper. In addition, it analyzes the current researches of secretary education and online education, and then draw some conclusions. The first chapter centers on the necessity of secretary continuing education in terms of reality and desirability. It gives the definition of secretary continuing education and analyzes the responsibilities of a secretary. It also points out the characteristics and knowledge requirements that a secretary should have. The second chapter introduces the current situations of secretary continuing education and online development in China and other typical countries from many perspectives, such as subjects setting, curriculums, teachers, teaching methods and student status. The third chapter analyzes and summarizes the results of questionnaire survey. The fourth chapter offers some concrete advices based on the above research results, while the fifth chapter conducts the feasibility analysis. Finally, it proposes the outlook.This research draws the following conclusions. Although most secretaries are willing to accept the traditional education than attending the online class, the studying time often conflicts with their working time. Many of them want to try the new studying pattern. Most secretaries think the tuition of online studying should between twenty to fifty yuan per hour and hope all courses can be finished within three months. They also mention some specific learning forms such as distance learning by video. All these conclusions give us some inspirations. |
