As the diversification of customer demand and market competition turning fiercely, the enterprise needs to cope with challenges by specialized cooperation among vendors. Supply chain management has become one of the core strategies. With serial mode, product architecture determines the composition of the whole supply chain and affects the operation performance of supply chain on the basis of modular. The enterprise must build corresponding supply chain network to match the product architecture. While suppliers are increasingly involved in the enterprise business process, supply chain is going to have an impact on the product architecture and performance. The theory of product life cycle and concurrent engineering has promoted the concept of design for supply chain, which emphasizes the concurrent and integrated design of product and supply chain to achieve global optimization. In this context, the thesis carried out a discussion and studied on the integrated optimization design method of the product architecture and supply chain configuration under the background, which provided the technical support for the product architecture and supply chain decision.Product architecture determines the structure and performance of supply chain. Suppliers affect product system performance through the differences of parts’ internal features, which they provided. Based on their relationship, this thesis studied from the aspects of method, optimization design model and application examples, the main research contents of this thesis are as follows,First of all, the research background, together with related research in the field of domestic and foreign research under current situation of design for supply chain and the integrated optimization design of product architecture and supply chain was elaborated. The main research contents and the overall structure were provided.Secondly, the correlation between product architecture and supply chain was investigated. From system’s point of view, established the concept model for the integrated optimization method of product architecture and supply chain. From the perspective of product life cycle, carried on the classification for the integrated optimization design method for product architecture and supply chain, which was based on product architecture evolution. And proposed integrated optimization design method of product architecture and supply chain under different modes of production.Finally, established different kinds of integrated optimization design model of product architecture and supply chain. Based on the improved NSGAII genetic algorithm, designed the solving method of integrated optimization models, wrote and debugged the matlab to verify the feasibility and practicality of integrated optimization design method.
